Reporting Animal Concerns
The humane care and use of animals is of paramount importance to the University of Miami. Individuals who have specific concerns about the treatment of animals should report their observations to the University Animal Care and Use Committee, by contacting one of the following individuals:

Individuals reporting concerns, should try to be as specific as possible and include the date, time, species, specific animal identification numbers, and the names of any University personnel involved. Routine animal husbandry concerns should be discussed with the animal caretaker supervisor of the facility. If the concern is not resolved promptly or reoccurs, the Division of Veterinary Resources should be contacted immediately at 305-243-6802. If the problem remains unresolved, contact the University of Animal Care and Use Committee.
